During World War II, Radomsko was under German occupation in the territory of the General Government. The Germans first confiscated the furniture collected in the Thonet Mundus factory warehouse and then launched production for the benefit of the German army. The Mazovia factory was closed. Radomsko’s Thonet Mundus and Ksawery W\u00fcnsche and the Company operated actively until the end of World War II. In 1945, both factories were nationalized and operated as independent enterprises under the names of the Bent Furniture Factory no. 1 (former Thonet Mundus) and the No.2 Furniture Factory (former Ksawery W\u00fcnsche and Company). From January 1, 1951, the two factories were merged into one enterprise under the name Radomszcza\u0144skie Zak\u0142ady Przemys\u0142u Drzewnego. In 1959, the name of the factory was changed to the Fameg Furniture Factory. For some time (in the 1970s), the company was called Zak\u0142ady Przemys\u0142u Meblarskiego im. The People’s Guard in Radomsko, and Fameg after reprivatization in the 90’s.<\/p>\n

The chair has been completely disassembled, the wood was cleaned of old paint coatings, glued again, protected with oil based on natural Chinese oils, environmentally friendly. Beech wood.
